Hey anthenon been lurking since new dlc last horizon don’t flame me but I’m really frustrated. I can’t bring myself to redo the towers or the mines just to get to last horizon. Really I have the badges for both but Do we really have to go back to go forward??

To make it into a actual mode, they need to tweak the last affliction, broken body. Maybe allow only certain way to recover condition, or maybe only allow the regen. Cougar wise, i think would be amazing if they make it spawn near you, then he will quietly stalk you, like a cougar would do, and then when near enough, he will pounch the player. If spotted by the player during the stalk, they could make it run at you fast, like faster then a wolf or bear. That could be the only chance to kill it.That would make you more aware to check your surroundings while the cougar icon is active. It would still be terrifing.

I dont know if this is concidered a spoiler or not but at 2:35:28 on the top left corner you can see a climable rockwall. If you climb that wall you will find the cave that you thought would be in the beginning of the map and that you looked after earlier in the episode ;)

The cougar knife is similar to the hunting knife in most tasks but is slightly faster at harvesting meat.

I wish they would make a fire bow drill for starting fires. They already have the ingredients...a survival bow, a piece of firewood, a stone and an arrow shaft. That way you have a renewable way to make fire.

Regarding the frostbite, I actually find it realistic. I'm no medical expert, but if you walk outside during winter without gloves your fingers turn stiff pretty instantly. Now imagine it being -20c and you're barely wearing anything. I think frostbite would set in really fast to be honest.

Man Hinterland really isn't messing about with Misery. Those afflictions are nuts! Really impressive gameplay as always mate!

The reason why some of those wolves didn't run away very far is because you hit them with the rock before the could flee with the aiming trick. I know it's tempting to hit them, i do that myself sometimes just to practice my aim, but it's actually worse than waiting until they see the torch.

WOW when you got screwed with no clothing at the plane wreck I thought you were DOA which put you right behind the Frostbite 8 Ball. Yeah looks like you were assuming you would get Loper loot and you got Misery Loot instead which along with the monkey wrench they threw in to messup the tea/can cooking made you spend your warmth harvesting a resource that you could not use until you got a pot or pan. Might have to just pass by the mushrooms and rosehips until you get gloves and a hat? Boy the way you lose warmth makes me recall the old timers who played from day one who would tell stories of Will freezing to death just going from the camping office to the cabins.
